Ingredients:-
1 cup walnuts chopped,
1 3/4 cup flour
3/4 cup sugar and a tea spoon of cinnamon powder
2 eggs beaten
Pinch of baking soda
1 tea spoon baking powder
vanilla essence
1/2 cup butter and three ripe bananas
Method of preparation:-
The oven should be preheated at 350 degrees F with a loaf pan in it. Firstly bake the nuts for atleast five minutes and chop them.Mix the ingredients flour, sugar, baking powder,cinnamon, salt, nuts and baking soda and set aside. Take a medium sized bowl to mix the ripen bananas, eggs, butter and vanilla essence. Transform the mixture in to the loaf pan.Using a wooden spatula lightly try to fold the banana mixture to make it slightly dry and the batter becomes thick. Never try to over mix the batter as it turns rubbery and tough. Bake the bread till you get golden brown color. To check out the bread try to insert a tooth pick and if it comes out clean your bread is ready. The cooking time is for about an hour. Place the bread on a wire rack to cool it and then you remove from the pan .Now the delightfully golden brown crispy banana bread crust is ready to slice and serve either warm or at room temperature to enjoy the delicious banana bread.
